Join NYC Votes and CUNY for an intensive Summit all about student voter engagement and organizing, as well as for the kickoff of the brand new NYC Votes x CUNY Pledge to Vote campaign! Student and campus leaders from all CUNY schools are invited to a day of speakers, workshops, and breakout sessions intended to provide student advocates with the tools, inspiration, information, and network they need to effectively organize around student voter mobilization on their campuses. Workshops will cover adaptive leadership, campus organizing skill building, voter rights and legislation, and issues-based organizing, with featured speakers including immigration activist Sara Moro, and guests from NYPIRG, the Roosevelt Institute, the Coro Fellowship, and more.
Join us at the Borough of Manhattan Community College on Friday February 21st, 10:00am-3:00pm, Lunch will be provided.
