We need your help to keep New York City’s democracy strong and healthy. Take action and become an NYC Votes Partner!
The coronavirus has had a major impact on NYC, including our elections. Governor Andrew Cuomo rescheduled all spring elections to June 23 and has expanded the availability of mail-in ballots. This summer and fall, NYC Votes will be utilizing digital tools to keep our partners and members of the general public informed and engaged in upcoming elections.
But we can’t do this alone. We need your help to ensure that our communities have the most up to date election information. We’ve created two options for participating as a partner -- choose one or both!:
- Become a digital ambassador: Receive and help share trustworthy information and breaking news about upcoming elections on your organization’s social media channels, email list, or other digital outreach tools. We provide content that is ready to share.
- Become a digital grassroots partner. Join our digital GOTV campaign by committing to recruit 5 - 10 volunteers and 1 - 2 team captains from your community or organization. We will provide all the technology, training, and tools for you to participate in digital phone banks and text campaigns.
Our elected officials are making life or death decisions about how to combat the coronavirus every day, and we must ensure that our communities are heard when it is time to elect new leaders in 2020 Tell us how you can help below!
