Ranked Choice Voting Train the Trainer Webinar

Beginning January 1, 2021, New York City voters will use Ranked Choice Voting in special and primary elections for local offices such as mayor, public advocate, comptroller, borough president, and City Council. Voters will be able to rank up to 5 candidates in order of preference, instead of choosing just one. Ranked Choice Voting gives voters more say in who gets elected, leads to more civility and less negative campaigning, and results in more diverse and representative candidates winning elections.

NYC Votes is partnering with organizations across the city by hosting training sessions for those who plan to educate voters in their own communities. This training session will explain how Ranked Choice Voting works, cover frequently asked questions, and share best practices for educating voters. Together, we can ensure voters get the information they need to cast their ballots with confidence and make their voices heard!

A Zoom link will be sent with RSVP confirmation.
