Voter Assistance Advisory Committee Post Election Hearing - NYC Votes

Under unprecedented circumstances, New Yorkers showed up in huge numbers to the polls for the November general election. Over 1 million voters requested absentee ballots, while over 1.1 million voted early, with at least as many expected to vote on Election Day. Now, we want to hear about your experience voting in this year’s general election. 

This meeting of the Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC) of the NYC Campaign Finance Board will highlight New Yorker’s voting experiences and raise up recommendations from members of the public and our partners. 

We want to hear testimonies from New Yorkers about:

• Your experiences voting in person early and on Election Day
• Your experience voting by mail and requesting absentee ballots
• Other improvements to elections in New York City.
