As New Yorkers, we take pride in living in one of the greatest cities in the world, and we know that voting is one of the best ways for us to make an impact on our city. While everyday life in NYC can be challenging at times, there’s a lot to love about being a New Yorker as well. What do you love most about living in New York City?

Buying local – I love being able to support my local businesses, because I know that my neighborhood spots are owned and operated by members of my community.

A great food and bar scene – I love trying out new spots and going back to my old favorites.

Ambition and hustle – I love that New Yorkers work hard and that we don’t waste time getting where we need to go.

My fellow New Yorkers – We can be a little up-front at times, but I love that New Yorkers know how to come together in times of need.

Diversity of New Yorkers – I love living in a city that’s home to people from all walks of life.

Activities and events – I love that there’s always something to do here. All you have to do is step outside.

Inclusive public policies – I love that NYC is looked to as a model city for the rest of the country, and I’m proud of the example that we’ve set.

Visiting parks – I love being able to spend time in parks and other public outdoor spaces throughout the city.

NYC pride – I love being able to say that I live in one of the greatest cities in the country.

Convenience – I love that I can find anything I need here, at practically any time of the day or night.

Access to public transportation – I love being able to step onto the subway or the bus and get anywhere I need to go without having to take a car.

Arts and culture – I love having access to some of the best cultural institutions, museums, and public spaces anywhere in the world.
