Join NYC Votes for a Census 2020 Zoom Happy Hour. We are gathering some of our friends to fill out the census. April 1st was Census Day and we want to make sure you don’t miss out.
2020 is an important election year but it is also about the Census. The 2020 Census affects funding for resources and services in our communities, including schools, roads, and hospitals, just to name a few. It determines the number of Congresspersons from your state and representation at all levels of government.
While you are home, we hope that you are staying safe and healthy and that you will take 30 minutes out of your day to join us. It’s a quick and easy way to make sure you are counted and make sure your communities will get what they need in the coming decade.
